Taylor Jenkins

Owner/Certified Instructor

Taylor Jenkins was born and raised in Mt. Juliet, TN.  She graduated from Wilson Central High School and went on to Middle Tennessee State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications and a minor in Speech and Theatre.

Taylor has been dancing for 19 years and teaching for 12 years.  Ms. Taylor is trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Tumbling, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, and Pointe.  She participated in competitive dance and cheerleading regionally and locally through out high school.  While competing, Taylor won many 1st place and overall awards.  In 2006, she went to Chicago where she was certified through Chicago National Association of Dance Masters.  In Ms. Taylor’s teaching career, she has choreographed numerous award-winning dances as well as received choreography awards.  Ms. Taylor loves all types of dance but her favorite is Jazz, Contemporary, and Hip-Hop.

Ms. Taylor was recently certified in Zumba and looks forward to starting this new endeavour!

In her free time Taylor enjoys working out, Kickboxing, Zumba, shopping, being with her friends, her Pomeranian Harry Winston, and being with family.

Taylor Krech began training in her hometown of Springfield, Illinois at Dance Arts Studio Inc. She trained in all areas of dance such as ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, modern, and musical theatre. Throughout High School she was a company member with the Springfield Ballet Company and performed in numerous works such as The Nutcracker, Rock Ballet, The Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Swan Lake. She attended Carolina Ballet Theatre’s summer program as well as Ballet West’s summer intensive. Taylor also had the opportunity f competing in the Youth American Grand Prix in Chicago, Illinois. She continued her dance career at the University of Kansas where she studied under Jerel Hilding (ballet), Michelle Heffner-Hayes (Improvisation),  Patrick Suzeau (choreography), Andie Stitt (modern/hip-hop), Ashley Brittingham (ballet), Tarrah Bossert (jazz),  Willie Lenoir (iazz, african), and James Moreno (modern). During her years at KU, Taylor taught modern, ballet, pointe, jazz, tumbling, tap, and creative movement at Sunflower State Dance.

Savannah graduated from Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance (Performance & Choreography), minor in Business Administration, and the Senior Class Outstanding Dance Major Award. At SRU, she performed in several guest artist, faculty pieces, and student works, choreographed, worked on dance films, and was involved in selective dance companies.

Savannah moved to Nashville from New York City where she performed professionally. While in NYC, she performed with Tracie Stanfield’s SynthesisDANCE, with RWS Entertainment Group, in the 9/11 Table of Silence Project, danced in a feature film, and with Emotions Physical Theatre. Savannah trained under the Harkness Healthy Dancer Initiative, interned at Gibney Dance and toured with Showbiz National Talent/ Primetime Dance as a videographer. She is excited to be teaching at Diamond Academy of Dance and hopes to continue performing in Nashville!

Jess Adams, a native of Wayne, West Virginia, began her dance career at the age of 3. She grew up dancing at Nancy’s School of Dance where she was a member of the award winning Nancy Carter Dancers. More recently, she became a part of Bridget’s Dance Academy where she was on the adult tap team and found her love for teaching tap. She is trained in tap, jazz and baton and has won a host of choreography and platinum awards. After relocating to Tennessee with her husband Chris, Jess found Diamond Academy of Dance and is excited to share her passion and creativity this season.

Jessica has been dancing since she was just 3 years old. She has worked hard over the years to become the dancer is she today.

Jessica has been a competitive dancer for over 6 years and while it is certainly one of her passions, she has found a love for teaching and choreography.
While Jessica still continues to compete in dance, she now has teaching that she pours her heart and soul into.

Her strong love for dance and children , along with her strong leadership skills , makes her a perfect fit to our diamond staff.

Miss Jessica loves all genres of dance. She teaches ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, Hip-hop and tumbling. We are so honored to have her as a member of our staff & the Diamond competition team.

Justin Jenkins

Hip-Hop Instructor

Justin Jenkins is in his 4th year with Diamond.  He is from Memphis, Tennessee and attended MTSU for college majoring in physical education.  He danced with MTSU’s MPAC dance program for 6 years where he found his love for Hip-Hop.  In 2009, Justin and his friends auditioned for MTV’s show, Americas Best Dance Crew and made it!  Their group “Southern Movement” became famous for their hip-hop routines in their cowboy hats.  After the show, Justin came back to Tennessee to teach at various studios and master classes before he made Diamond his teaching home.  Mr. Justin has brought Diamond Hip-Hop to the next level, and has lead the team in their hip-hop categories to numerous choreography and first overall awards.  He loves Memphis Tigers basketball, Chicago Bulls and of course, the Tennessee Titans.  Justin lives in Mt. Juliet with his wife, Mrs. Taylor and their dog Harry Winston.  Justin loves children and loves sharing his passion with his dancers!
